Rev Dr Christopher Chia is the Senior Pastor at Adams Road Presbyterian Church in Singapore, serving for over three decades. He is the Vice President of the National Council of Churches of Singapore and the Synod Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Singapore.

 

Converted at the Billy Graham Crusade in 1979 while studying in Sydney, Dr. Chia was formerly a journalist and sub-editor at The Straits Times. He now preaches the Good News and lectures in Homiletics and Ecclesiology both locally and internationally.

His education includes a B.Comm and B.Theology from Moore College, an MTh from Oxford as a Harvard Fellow, and a D.Min in Preaching from Gordon Conwell Seminary. A Belgrave Heights speaker since 1998, his passions include mentoring pastors, raising the next generation, and fostering godly marriages and families.

Dr Grace Lung is a passionate advocate for intercultural understanding within faith communities, dedicated to helping Christians navigate the complexities of culture, race, and generational divides. She equips both ethnic migrant churches and Western congregations with the tools to foster greater ethnic, cultural, and racial competence, creating more inclusive and welcoming communities. A seasoned speaker, Grace has delivered keynote addresses at events such as the Mission Matters Conference QLD and the National Young Adults & Young Families Conference (Vietnamese) 2024 and has also served as a lecturer at Whitley College and Ridley College, making her a compelling voice for our global mission conference.

In addition to this deep engagement with God’s word, there will be many opportunities to hear from CMS missionaries  about how God is building His kingdom around the world. We will also be prompted to consider our role in going to the nations and encouraging others to serve cross-culturally.
